Larry Katzenstein is a nationally recognized authority on estate planning and charitable gift planning, and a longstanding champion of the Council. He is a partner at Thompson Coburn LLP; his practice concentrates on estate planning and charitable giving, and representation of tax-exempt organizations. Larry is a frequent speaker on gift planning across the nation, and annual anchor presenter for several American Bar Association-American Law Institute estate planning programs. Larry also speaks at many national tax institutes and nonprofit organizations to share his expertise in tax law on charitable gifts. He graduated from Harvard School of Law, and is an adjunct professor at Washington University School of Law, where he teaches both estate and gift taxation, and fiduciary income taxation classes.
